Getting CP back is great news, but its going to be really different seeing him on D! Hope things work out for him on that side. Losing Briggs hurts a lot because he is probably our best pass rusher.

Awesome that Partridge is doing this. Coach has had the Midas touch lately with moving players.
My questions for those in the know.
1) How permanent is this? If he does really well will we see him there more.
2) Wouldnt tackling hurt a thumb more than catching?
3) Who were the other players academically ineligible?

Damn, we need a very competent pass rush to corral Tulsa's passing game and our leading pass rusher decides to violate a team rule , way to go son.

That is a shame about Steffy. I thought he showed improvement during the season.

He can probably cover it in cast on top of cast and it not be affected, while a cast would hamper catching passes.
CP is a gamer. Dude bleeds orange and brown, and I love it!

First off, that’s great news about Partridge being back. I’m happy for him but it’s going to be strange to see him on D. Hopefully, he’ll have a few catches (ints) and maybe a TD back there for us! But damn, that's very disappointing news about Briggs. It's a shame because he's one of our best players on defense and to turn in the kind of year he had only to shoot down your chance to play in a bowl game…that's very unfortunate. It's also a shame about Steffy. I also wonder who the two players were that were ruled academically ineligible? That's never good to hear, but since it occurred, I can only hope they weren’t starters or guys who will see a large role for us.
This news basically puts us one up but then takes us four down (including at least two starters).

That is why he would look good in the black and gold in 2 years.

I thought he wasn't very manly since all he did was hurt his little thumbie. I guess this answers the question about his toughness that somebody posed earlier this year. I hope he does well at safety. In fact I hope Brandon decides to keep him there.

Awesome about CP but man am I disappointed in Briggs.

That sux. Come on, man...
Will be GREAT to see CP back on the field.
And Steffy had a solid year in his first as a starter....it sux for him breaking his leg. He'll be counted on for the next few seasons.
GO FALCONS
