You can't be calling other schools' football programs "sorry" immediately following a loss to Akron. Especially when said loss to Akron comes within two months of a loss to Troy.

Oh, and I don't want to hear some kind of excuse about how Akron's good this year. Your team has lost two out of its last three games against Zippy and company.

You're right...South Florida, Tulane, Army, Houston, East Carolina, Memphis, Cincinnati, and Alabama-Birmingham all have the sorts of football programs we only wish we could have.

Well stated McMetz. I think the best criticism is silence. They are beneath our notice. I think it is best not to respond to any Herd poster on the forum. Let our silence be deafening and let them spin themselves into a frenzy as we all sit quietly by and watch in faint amusement.

The obvious reason to jump is for Bowl Tie Ins, well this year the MAC could get the daunted 3 bowl invites and in two seasons when CUSA's contracts expire that reason will also be NULL and VOID because the MAC will be picking up bowl ties that CUSA used to have.

Have fun going on to "bigger and better things" just like NIU did when they left the MAC because they wanted to schedule quality schools... they came crawling back. . .[/b]
