Re: Not Good!
Ouch. I think with what we've seen or heard of Kory L's performance in drills and what not he may slip to the middle or late Rnds of the draft. Perhaps Kory L is not as physically strong as we all had presumed. He is very athletic though but to play the center or guard spot in the NFL you need to be immensely stout when you go up against these mammoth DT's that are in the league now. May be Kory is better at OT positions than playing inside for the next level.Rollo83 wrote:Korey just got smoked near the goal line by a USC D-lineman and gave up a safety.

First off he isn't tall enough to play OT he will be fine at center or guard.Falconboy wrote:Ouch. Second, he didn't have a bad game except for the saftey against a first round pick.
Re: Not Good!
Your right. Kory was a 2nd team all MAC at guard as a freshman. That versatility is what teams like. It is rare for BG to have a player in this game.bgfalcon03 wrote:First off he isn't tall enough to play OT he will be fine at center or guard.Falconboy wrote:Ouch. Honestly most NFL scouts don't pay attention to this game at all. In fact, most will have left town by the time the game kicks off. The week of practice definitely does effect draft position, however.ZuluWarrior wrote:I think the concern is that everyone here is rooting for Kory and every play is crucial for his draft position. I'm pretty sure no one here is happy about missed assignments and plays, but since I couldn't watch I appreciate reading about the good and the bad.
And tiz, you should know the answer to this one. Kory's an offensive lineman. That's the poster child position for only getting recognition when they screw up!

Kory doesn't owe us anything. He poured his heart out as a Falcon, and is one of the most honored lineman we have ever had.
He was a good student.
He represented our team very well.
Anything else is gravy.
Absolutely. Yeah, he got smoked on the one play but looked good the rest of the game.
hammb is right...most if not all the NFL scouts were long gone before the game took place.
Thanks for everything, #78!!!!!!!!!!!!!
