Kinda surprised I'm the one bringing this little nugget to you all but whatever. Sounds like a pretty decent hire to me so far. With all this guys experience and where's he's been I wouldn't count on him being here long if he's successful as we simply don't pay well enough.

There was mention of it here, towards the end of the thread.

Yeah, but the link confirms it officially instead off hearsay of Factman or somebody.

No worries. No worries at all, Falconboy! Which reminds me anyhow, Welcome aboard, Coach Hofher. That's some CV. I feel unusually good about this.

Welcome to the nest!

Always good to add experience to the coaching staff.

Maybe he will work on getting Tyler not to drop back so far and getting sacked

Yep, there's the stereotypical negative response to good news.

I wouldn't worry too much about him leaving because:

1. He was just offically hired a few hours ago.
2. After getting burned at UB he probably appreciates the value of loyalty that much more.

He should be a great veteran mentor for the QB's and make an immediate impact on the recruiting trail as well. Welcome aboard, coach!

Given the turnover on our staff, he could be a coordinator in a couple years, too.

See, I didn't mean that as a shot. I just meant he might figure he can be a coordinator soon.....

I didn't interpret it as a shot O&B. I think you're right about Hofher seeing a potential opportunity down the road.
