Have you noticed about Marshall fans

That they seem to be extremely wishy-washy when it comes to supporting their team?
I was on HerdNation.com, observing their posts during the game, and noticed that whenever something was going wrong for them, they started making comments like "put a fork in us, we're done", "this is the end of our reign", but yet the minute hope appeared, they were all chanting their little Herd slogans and sayings, praising their team, and commenting on how the team will come around. And it wasn't just for this game. They've been doing it for as long as I've known they existed.
It's one of the most disturbing phenomenons I've ever witnessed as a football fan. I hope I NEVER see this kind of behavior in our fans. Especially here.
