I was just looking at this website and I can not believe how bitter their fans are. For a team that hates the MAC so much they sure do like to brag about all of their success in it. To the Marshall fans you are only as good as your last game, season, etc. The terd hasn't been successful in two years and I don't see it happenening anytime soon. Finally, BEAT TOLED0!

West Virginia, where the men are men and the sheep are scared. ps still looking for all of the marshall fans on our site to explain what happened

Yeah, its unbelievable. They are BANNING BG posters simply for stating a fact -- that we KILLED the terds!

I don't know if you noticed the thread entitled "BG Fans" or not, but they are calling US classless...

Quick poll:

Has anyone ever thrown batteries and bags of urine at opposing players/fans?

Oh well, no matter what they want to say there is no doubt that our fans by far have more teeth. And to me, being a toothless hilljack is being classless! :D

No excuses here. Everyone in Huntington knew this game was going to be tough. We were hoping that it wouldn't matter so much but that went out the window when we lost to Akron. You have a nice team! I had a great time at the game..Good luck in the years to come!

Thank you GREEN. That was very classy of you, and you are a great ambassador for your team.

I guess I'm just a bit peeved that most Marshall fans write off the MAC as a terrible conference and refuse to even think for a second that it did something good for their program.

But thanks again. You are a saint among animals!

The fans I know don't write off the MAC as a horrible conference. We have a lot of respect for teams like BGSU, Miami, Toledo and NIU. Its hard to respect teams like Akron, CMU, Kent. And before you go all crazy saying that Akron beat us, it isn't just about the level of competition. They had to set up temporary lights for the game. Their stadium was almost completely empty by the 4th quarter--their fans didn't even see them win. They probably didn't even have enough people there to tear down the field goal posts. Same thing with Kent--it was their homecoming and their stadium was empty. The atmosphere on game day is what bothers me most.

It seems like some of the "bottom feeders" have thrown in the towel.

The point is well taken and I totally agree with you. What I'm talking about, though, is Marshall fans refusing to admit that the MAC has done ANYTHING good for Marshall since they came in.

The MAC, for the record, allowed you guys to come into the conference and build your way into 1A football. IMO, the MAC also looked the other way while you guys used the shadiest of recruiting practices in doing so, but like I said, thats just me...

If there were only one thing that the MAC has done for Marshall, thats a pretty big one, but I'd be willing to bet that there are a lot, lot more.

No the MAC has done a lot for us...

I think Marshall has done a lot for the MAC.

I think that Marshall doesn't respect the MAC as a whole--but that isn't a personal issue against any team.

Oops sorry....

I'll have to think of some trash talk. Of course, after our last two games, it will be tough.
