Here is a screen shot that was just released. It shows the top 8 players on BG's team next year. BTW i see they have our helmet right in this years game, now just hope they have the actual football field and sebo center.

Hmmm..... PJ Mahone as our best player? Sure that was supposed to be our top 8 players. I thought Sheehan would've been up there. Also interesting to note is that its mostly defense in that top 8 as well. I wonder if our O is gonna take a step back this year in this game.

Man no AT or Sheehan what a surprise. Looks like I got some work to do when the game comes out.

I'm surprised that Tyler Sheehan and Anthony Turner aren't up near the top. Conversely, Kenny Lewis as our #2 ranked player surprises me too.

Since defense isn't my strength when it comes to the came, hopefully highly rated D players can help me :-D

I remember hearing last year that all but 8 stadiums (including the Doyt) were rendered in the '08 game, and all D-IA teams will have fully rendered stadiums in '09. Hopefully they'll have Sebo too.

I saw the pre-order box yesterday and it said something like "All-new Home Field Advantage" lol. I love it when it says that like every year. But I still think its by far & away the best video game out there you can buy.

Looks like the "new" features are going to be more user controlled celebrations & more dynamic upper body movements w/ the ball carrier as opposed to juke left/right.

Hopefully they fixed the Doyt, because that was the most annoying part about the game last year. I also don't like that every game is a sellout, I know they are trying to be nice & its probably easier to design, but I wouldnt mind seeing varied attendances & crowd noise levels brought back from a few years before. Heck even if the game play bores you, you can always recruit for hours!!!!!

As for our player ratings I don't think they look too bad. I'm sure they overrated Mahone a bit because he had all those HUGE returns on INTs last year. Not sure what the numbers were, but he had to be close to leading the nation in INT return yards & close to breaking some BG records in that area as well!

I know this because one of the guys making the game called me relentlessly for permission to use our logo. But I guess they're incorporating student newspapers into the Heisman mode.

So expect to see The BG News in there.

I like the sound of that. It'll make the "dorm room" more personal then in the heisman mode.

I pray that they get our Doyt accurate this time! They had us in a 100,000 seat stadium in 08, although that would be nice, it's just not Doyt Perry Stadium. I'd also like to see throwback jerseys and helmets of BG in the game.

Looks like they updated the helmet and the field to current, but looks like no Doyt again. It's a shame, I was looking forward to buying this year's game.

not only that, but it looks like the stadium size is more than tripled...not saying that I don't want it to be that size, but seriously people, if you're going to recreate a stadium, recreate it as close as you can!! (crowd size and everything!)

Three versions into the next-gen games and they still haven't modeled all the stadiums? For shame, EA... Well, if our stadium is the same generic bowl in the final game, it will cost EA my $60.

That sucks they dont have the Doyt. I wonder why in the heck that is? Just a few years back they had our videoboard exactly right & a big concrete slab for where Sebo was being built! I'd rather have that then the frickin generic NFL bowl stadium.

Seriously, how the heck does this continue to happen? They keep saying they'll have all the stadiums accurately rendered, then ... nothing.

And while we're at it, when are Freddie & Frieda going to get their virtual due?
