SInce we are starting to get off topic and clutter some other threads, I suggest we begin our own. First off, what time are we gonna get it started on the 23rd?

We should be arriving around 4pm at the latest....let's get an agreement from everyone as to which lot it will be. I'll have my grill, brats and beer. Also have the BGSU flag and flag pole so everyone can look for that as well.

Damn....8 more days until the Falcons take out Brucie and Co. Guess I'll watch game replays on tape for the next few days.

4pm freak?! what is the deal?

I think you should get here at noon at the latest. I promise to be there this time. Eagle scouts honor. Lets make quite the day of this.

does someone want to call ut and see where we are allowed to tailgate, and starting at what time? Ill do it if no one in the area wants to.

also:

where is everyone getting their tickets? I mean, where in the stadium? is everyone gettign GA or what? if so, i can sit anywhere in there, but i would have to purchase a reserved ticket to sit with everyone if you all went that way. Id like to sit on the field level, and That is very easy to do in the south endzone, i did it in 2002. If poeple want to make a large presence there( as opposed to the 4 people we had in 2002) Id liek that. Its not the best view, but after BG score in that endzone, you are RIGHT THERE to celebrate with them!

TJ was most kind to respond to my request abotu tailgating, here is a Q/A about it:
Q. Where can we park?
A. Except for the lots reserved for season ticket holders, GA ticket holders
can park just about anywhere for $5 per car. Lots are pretty clearly marked. Perhaps we'll be able to get a map posted to go with this. Lots 10, directly to the north of the Glass Bowl is reserved for contributors of $500 or more. Lot 9, directly to the south of the stadium, is also reserved, but the list of is too long to get into. Lots 27 and 28, on either side of the bus loop off Dorr St., are reserved for suite holders. Lot 5, to the northwest of Savage Hall,is reserved, as are Lots 3 & 4 to the northeast and southeast, respectively.

Q. What about tailgating? Where is that allowed?
A. You can tailgate anywhere you can park.

Q. What kind of restrictions?
A. You should set up any tables, etc., directly BEHIND your vehicle, not next to it. Obviously, this is to save parking spaces. Grilling is fine. I've seen charcoal grills, but most use LP, for obvious reasons.

Q. Okay, what about alcohol?
A. I asked if it was permitted, and if so, where. The answer surprised me. The only place alcohol is prohibited is inside the Glass Bowl. The university does remind us to tailgate responsibly.

With this new info, it looks liek the best chances we have are:

-Lot 25 (around rocket hall, corver of secor and dorr)
-engineering lot(across douglas)
-Lot 8 (south of carter hall)
[lot 8 will be touch because it is a dorm, and it will depend of how many residents leave to go home, as this is a popular lot to park in, it susually hard to find a space on a normal day)

here's a link to a campus map(it takes a bit longer to load):

We should pick an area to all get together just like at CMU, that was good.

Our 4 seats are in Sec. 22. We got them from the BG Ticket Office. Here is a chart of the stadium:

basically if we can pick an area, i can get there with a crew of people pretty early in the AM, as well as anyone from the site that wants to start early as well. We can hold down the fort until more people arrive, btu we need to make a decision first.

engineering and Lot 25 will be the easiest by far, as they are in prime viewing positions for people to locate the group.
