Next Saturday the Destroyers play the team Cole Magner is playing for down in Columbus. It's an all you can night and of course, I have a horse show in Georgetown to announce.

Omar is playing for Florence (SC) of the AIFA, which is the AAA of AFL I think. He has one of the top 2 or 3 passer ratings in the league and has his team headed to the playoffs. James Hawkins and Keon Newson also play in the AIFA.

The AIFA is more like the Frontier League of Arena Football. There is an AFL2 league. The AIFA is about as low as you can get in organized football.

No, the Continental Indoor Football League is lower. Saginaw was supposed to come to Rochester yesterday for the last game of the season, but never showed up. Rochester looks for compensation, but it appears that no one else in the league except Rochester has paid the surety bond of $10,000.

So, undefeated Rochester bolts the league the week before playoffs are supposed to start and is looking to join the AIFA with three game to play with the agreement to play the AIFA champs in a "Championship Game."

I'm waiting for Ogie Oglethorpe to show up.

Here's the story: Rochester Raiders

Good to see Josh doing good. It's funny, I was at work last week searching through some BGSU stuff (during lunch, of course) and thought about the ol' Cole, PJ, Sharon and of course J5 and saw some great pics that brought a tear to my falcon vision eyes! Sharon is a really talented receiver and never got the air play he should have! That dude was awesome! I think he's in Jacksonville right now and I hope he continues to shine well. Falcon tradition rollin' on!

I was at the game Saturday against Georgia Force. Josh only plays on special teams (return and kickoff). He or zwixk should start though...Nagy sucks at QB.

it was the first Arena game I have ever seen and I saw it live and it was not impressive. I was bored, give me real football any day.

I went to one Destroyers game their first season before I moved to Indy. I wasn't all that impressed by it, either. It seems like it's a made-for-TV sport.
