Wonder what the final outcome of this one was! Great old video from UTUBE! Man, BG is really getting out there for everyone to see!

If I'm not mistaken this is the video that started my presence on this board so you may want to reconsider how great it was. :-D I sent this to Grant years ago and he put it up here and invited me to drop by. Final score was 22-20. BG won in spite of a great day by UT's Mel Gray. He was by far the best player on the field but had no real offensive help. I was sick for a week- the three undefeated years when I attended school at UT did a lot to assauge the pain.

you sure its the 1961 when Toledo went 3-7 and BG went on to the Mercy Bowl (Los Angeles CA) -- 23 Nov 1961 Fresno State vs Bowling Green

haha if it was 63' i highly doubt the great mel gray was in school then.

Good catch. I meant JIM Grey. There was no Mel Grey. I guess I figured if Mel Tripplett had Grey's speed and Grey had Tripplet's size we would have really had something so I combined them.

It's old, but man it's great to see our fighting birdz swoopin' down on the cocket heads! Sorry Turdledo, but it's hard to find anything nice to say about you. I try, but it's just not there!
