Effie James named Head Basketball Coach / Mansfield Senior

Effie James was named Head Basketball Coach at Mansfield High School.

It stated in the Mansfield News Journal that James, who starred in football and basketball at Mansfield Senior, earned a football scholarship to Bowling Green University.

Not sure what position he played and if he played all 4 years.

He redshirted as a tight end in '94, was on the roster in '95, but the current media guide doesn't list him as a letterwinner. Oh, and it's Effie James, btw... :wink:
