I know some of you take photos at sporting events with your Dig SlR's. We have a canon Dig Rebel and I am having difficulty in finding a fitted case that will accommodate the larger lenses. i have been looking for cases that even allow you to remove the lens cover and will just protect the body. Ive been scouring the net and calling stores with no luck, and the thing is I know they make them.

I know that this may sound rather simple and you might have already done it, but have you tried to look on the Canon website? If anything, you might be able to shoot off a question to someone at the Canon company via their website asking about it. I'm not a big camera person, but just from similar experiences with other products, it's been as simple as just going to the maker's website and checking there and possibly even sending off an email or two.
