Has quit the team. I thought he had a future at DT, but after his switch to OL he has quit.

That sucks. Bet he ends up somewhere else as a DT.

I agree, not sure why we would switch a guy from DT when he seemed to play pretty good.

So much for our recruiting coup.
Kid should've been a really good DT for us. Don't know who's fault it is, but it sucks.

He looked like he was really struggling ion the spriong game...I don't think he ever lived up to expectations on the DL. Sorry to see him leave nonetheless

He certainly should have been a candidate to move back to the DL after the other issues from this summer.
But then again, maybe he was asked to switch back and he didn't appreciate being jerked around.
Nonetheless, sad to see him go. Good luck DJ.

.......and then again, maybe he just wasn"t as good as they originally thought, and they were trying to find a place that he could excel, but he just didn't have the drive to do it!!!

I wish DJ the best in whatever he chooses to do. I never like to see a guy leave the program.
Good Luck, DJ.

That may be right.
But I did talk to one of the other lineman this summer and was told DJ was looking good at OT. So who knows.
Again, I wish him the best.

Man, not the news I was hoping to hear at all. I know every team loses a few players every year for whatever reasons, but I am not liking the rate our list of non-returners is growing. I hope this is the last of it as we're already in need of depth at some of the positions we're losing these guys.

Young was listed as our #2 LT in the media guide depth chart. After the losses of Hardwick and Barrow, I actually thought they might be moving Young back to DL. Guess not....

dj was a beast on the dline. thats all my buddy who played dline talked about when dj was a freshmen. he started most of his games his freshmen year before he got hurt and he was pretty ticked when they moved him to offense. my guess is that if he is going to msu, that they told him he could play d-line.
