Reading a little nugget about Northern Illinois' Michael "Turner the Burner" and what looks like a break out year for him at Atlanta made me wonder what lies in wait around the conference this season in the running back department.

I seem to remember plenty of doubt about Turner's size cutting the mustard at the pro level, but maybe I have him confused with someone else. I remember him being a bit of a handful.

Turner wasn't undersized. You may be confusing him with Wolfe.

Yeah, Turner was Tomlinson's very capable backup in San Diego for a few years...when LT (the player, not the old Falcon Head) went down, he got a ton of playing time and the Falcons picked him up.

Turner will go nowhere in Atlanta... there is no QB, there is no offensive line... therefore I'll put 8 in the box and dare you to throw the ball.
