Check out the latest from BG Sports News on today's press conference with Coach Brandon and what is shown to be the 2 deep roster.

"All those guys are going to play. Anthony Turner's going to play at receiver and at quarterback in this game. Marques Parks is going to play at Z and X for us. We're going to use all our weapons throughout the course of the game."

Also noted that there is no TE spot listed on the 2-deep. Scheidler & Reike are listed as fullbacks instead.

In addition to the football game, there will be a halftime Scrabble competition. Parks will be playing the valuable, but tricky, Z and X tiles. Best of luck to him and his pursuit of the Triple Word Score.

I'll tell ya....I am VERY impressed with the depth of info the BG News is providing on this blog. FANTASTIC! Between them and Ryan at the Blade, it makes it much easier for those of us outside the BG area to keep as up to date as possible. Let me just say it is now my 2nd fave site behind AZZ.com.

Ahem, isn't that Marques Parks in the starting spot? Where's moneymaker when ya need him?

The defense to me would be pretty good this year if no one got hurt. Let's hope that's the case. Haneline for MAC DPOY.
