Suisham Nearing NCAA Records!!

Post by Redwingtom »

The NCAA D-1 Career records for PAT's are 217 made and 222 attempts. By my count, Suisham currently has made 210 out of 217 attempts so far in his career.

We either need to throttle Toledo or get to a bowl game and he should eclipse both marks!!

The single season record for made PAT's are 71 and Suisham is currently at 57 so we would need two arse whoopins' for him to hit that mark.

Actually Shuisham has 213 and only needs 4 to break the record. It was mentioned in an article and somewhat discussed in the thread below...

I never realized how close he was until I read that article. It still amazes me and I give credit to our offense for letting him get a chance to break it!

I don't think he is close to the consecutive record, but according to the stats on ESPN.com (2002-2004) and BGSUFalcons.com for 2001 only, they have him listed as below:

2001 - 44-45
2002 - 57-59
2003 - 52-56
2004 - 57-57
Total - 210-217

Maybe these stats are not counting the Motor City Bowl last year, but we scored 28 points in that game which would mean 4 more PAT's???

Can someone confirm these season stats?

Well, reading the other thread, they have him listed as 214-221 which would mean my listing would be missing the 4 extra points from the Motor City Bowl last year.

SWEEET!!! He should break (ahem demolish) both records at the Toledo game!!!

NCAA record for consecutive PAT's is 161.
