Boy, Mark May looked and sounded pissed and embarrassed. I love it.

The exchange that is going on right now between him and Lou Holtz is priceless. Pitt's next opponent is Buffalo who just waxed UTEP. That could be an interesting game. In all honesty it'd be nice if Pitt goes undefeated in at least the Big East to make us look better. Pitt lose to UB and then go undefeated the rest of the way , that would be perfect but not likely.

Yup, but of course we didn't get really any props for the win, all about Pitt losing, while ECU got a ton of dap for their win.

Hm... who did Mark may play for? And who coaches ECU? Not to take anything away from ECU. My dad went there and I was pulling for them the whole way and was pumped for their win, just saying.

Man, we got virtually dissed for winning and playing a darn good game. The highlights SUCK since they hardly showed any highlights. I can't believe this total biased and hatred towards non-BCS schools. The disrespect is getting old! Hopefully that will just make our boys angry, faster, smarter and hit harder! GO BG

In 2003, Pitt was undefeated vs. MAC teams (something like 20-0 or thereabouts) and the Panthers opened the season with three consecutive MAC games (Kent State, Ball State and at Toledo). Pitt won the first two and during the week leading up to the Pitt/UT game, I watched May dog the MAC on ESPN broadcast. Needless to say, Pitt lost the Toledo game and Pitt also lost to Ohio in 2005 and obviously again to BG today. Yes, it was nice to watch him on the show today.

I wish I had seen it. I remember Mark May just dumping on us before we played AT Wisconsin two or three years ago. My least favorite at ESPN, by far. Herby's stock went way up this weekend...that means he's barely in the middle of the pack, but still he deserves some props.

On ESPN Radio driving back from the game tonight, Beano COok, a PItt alum, said this was "devastating for Pitt" and that all the glory and such that Pitt brought to themselves after beating West Virginia last year "just evaporated with this loss." Cook also placed Wannstedt on the official hot seat!

Mark May is the biggest MAC and Notre Dame hater of all time. Glad his panthers lost today. and it should have been worse.

bring on an improved Minney team who found a way to beat NIU tonight. Cmon Doyt, you better be rocking next week!

Who gives a s**t what fu**ing mark may says?! we flat out whipped his alma mater and sent his ass home crying. We won, taht's all that amtters what eSPN has to say about the game is irrelevent. the game was ours, and I hop eour guys are are enjoying it!

On the college football wrap up last night, when the group was talking about BG vs. Pitt, Mark May changed the subject quickly and went back to talking about ECU. That didn't bother me as much as his next comment where he said that ECU and Utah now deserve to have their name thrown into the hat of non-BCS schools that would be competing for a BCS spot. He named Fresno and a couple others along with ECU and Utah, but didn't mention BG at all. Their analysis focused on Pitt losing and they didn't have one good thing to say about BG's execution. Terrible! I just hope that this team continues to annoy the establishment!
