Hollly Mollly! I had no idea the MAC was so hated! These guys are bashing the hell out of BG. I don't understand the hate of our Falcons. I'm starting to see it's not only the ESPN commentators that was disgusted at our VICTORY today.

I just got done reading the whole thing and it hilarious from the early pre-game boasting by Pitt fans to their eventual utter shock, disbelief and overall suicidal-esque posts. Funny stuff indeed.

You know, these bigger schools have some really stupid fans. They lose, and automatically BGSU sucks and it's pitiful. If they had won, they would have probably called BGSU a garbage team or something. Glad we beat them, now let's go beat Minny and get this season rolling.

i never knew pitt fans were so cocky, haha. you would think that by now with wanstache as their coach they should know anything is possible haha. reading that just made me feel better about beating them and it should have been 34-17!!!!!!

It's much more enjoyable going over to the Rivals board to witness the Drano chugging first hand.

With that small enjoyment, however, is the sobering reality that it happens HERE too.

its not new...ITS THE BCS FOG. Every year before the season even begins the "all knowing announcers...like May, Holtz, etc...and journalist" have the whole season slated out. Who will win the BCS Championship (*note not a National Championship, but BCS meaningless trophy) who will win the Heisman and why.
Its down right comical.
In the case of our Falcons playing Pitt. Its clasic we are under dogs because we have a rats ass chance in hell of playing in a BCS bowl. therefore any out of conference game won by a MAC team is noted as an upset, and if said losing team goes on to win games, the MAc win is a Fluke and discounted, esp so if said MAC team losses to another MAC school.
Im proud of what they did today. I was watching the game with my mother in her hospital room. Numerous Docs commented on how good BG has been of late and how good the MAC is.....guess football like politics when you listen to the media, all you get are their lies.
Good game today, and now after watching how they played and fought for every yard, I now have some lofty expectations for this team, that I had not had before this game. there is little doubt this team will have a great season if they play every game like todays.

That s**t is awesome even to my drunk ass. Hilarious tos ee those whiners. Not our fault we outplayed them for 3+ quarters. The better team won and it was closer than it should've been thanks to shoddy officiating. Great game by the Falcons.

-Pittsburgh wins this game at least 38-10. Bowling Green may be one of the better teams in the MAC but obviously you Bowling Green fans really haven't been paying too much attention to the talent that the Panthers have on their roster. May the best team win...

-Bowling Green fans are giving me a headache!!! For real? I mean, come on. It's nice to have some confidence and hopes, even some aspirations but to think you're going to come into our house and win? Not this year, that's for sure. I'd stake whatever wager you'd like.

-After watching the Wake Forrest game last night and winning 200, it seems to me this game is just like that one. BG conference does not compare with Pitts, BG defence will not be able to shut down Pitts offence, and Pitts defence will man handle BG offence. How does anyone think that an upset will happen at Pitt against a ranked team. Teams that are ranked pre season tend to do better there first game. One of the best teams in the Nation is Pitts.

Everyone who does not agree with this does not know anything about football.

After Game Comments

-Hey mattkins82, take your MAC #### back and go the GMAC bowl. You act like you did something. You did not. You beat a team without a coach. The opening drive showed the talent. BG's coaches adjusted, Wanneass did not. That was the story. This is not a notch in your belt. It will mean as much as a victory over Buffalo before this is all over. When a team from the MAC plays in one of the BCS bowls, come back and talk to me. Until then, go and play in your 14,000 seat stadium

-Brennej, BG still hasn't beat anyone. Enjoy your small crowds in the MAC and maybe if you are nice, Dave Wannstadt will invite all the BG Alums over to watch the bowls at his house over the holidays cause even if BG does make a bowl, it will be days before Christmas. Pitt will be watching all of them but don't act like your team is all that. They beat a very mediocre team with a terrible coach. I would say wait until you beat someone of note but I can't say that since you play in the MAC.

You should have heard the comments on AM 970, "The Panther Hotline", after the game. You would have thought it was App State/Mich all over again. NO respect or congrats to BG...just a bunch of whiner losers talking how Pitt gave the game away and Dave W is a bum...blah blah blah.

Pitt should NEVER lose to a team "Like BG". LOL!! I was dying. BTW, the officiating was horribly one sided for Pitt...it was a Big East crew...or is that Big Cheat crew.

Pitt fans....get a clue. You have a lot of talent but you ain't all you're cracked up to be.

On a side note, the Pitt students were EXCELLENT kids...no problems whatsoever and only heard BG sucks once or twice. For some reason I didn't hear that after the game.

usually a few of the other team's fans will show some class and come over here and congratulate us after a big win. looks like that hasn't happened yet...
