I keep seeing these promo's for ESPNU and ESPUHD but my friends directv guide showed no ESPNUHD just the regular one. Did anyone else that watched the game get ESPNU in HD? Seeing the Minny-NIU game on BTNHD was making we pine for it for the BG game. This Sat.'s game with Minny is on ESPNU as well and would be nice to be able to dvr the game in HD to watch later.[/list]

I saw the HD option as well during the game, but I do not have ESPNUHD. I asked the Dish guy that installed my dish on Thursday about it and he said that he was unaware ESPNU even had HD option. I am going to try and call Dish this week. I will post here if I find anything out.

What do you have , cable, dish or directv? My friend in Findlay has Directv. It would be nice to have that Minny-BG game dvr'd in HD next Sat.

Time Warner has ESPNHD in only a portion of their geogra[hical areas and if they do, it is normally on channel 757. It is NOT available in HD in the Bowling Green area at this time.

Sorry, meant to include on original - we have Verizon FIOS and pretty much every channel/network is available in HD.

Verizon FIOS - is a fiber optic network that is in like two areas in the US that will provide mostly HD channels. The only areas that I know that have it are NYC and Dallas. Verizon is laying the Fiber Optioc cables in only major US cities and it will be a while for even cities such as Columbus, Cincinnati, and Cleveland to get this new option.

Fort Wayne has been called alot of things past & present, however "major" has NOT been a descriptor I have ever heard in my 16 years here.

When I talked to Verizon last year about FIOS thats what I was told. Evidently a market of 1 Million people isn't big enough for them. But Fort Wayne is just right.
