NFL BG Falcons Update

In the earlier post, it was reported that Steve sanders was cut by the Browns. Its expected Steve will be signed today to the Browns practice squad...unless he gets picked up by someone else. However, they'd have to sign him to their active roster if that happens.
PJ Pope was cut by the Bears yesterday. Not sure if PJ can be signed to the practice squad by the Bears? I thought there is a rule you can't be on a practice squad more than 2 years?
On the positive side...
Kory L made the Broncos roster and is listed as the backup at right guard on their depth chart. If Steve was cut in favor of a Browns draft pick, maybe Kory got the same priority treatment from the Broncos. It was reported that he was struggling picking up the Broncos complicated blocking schemes (zone blocking) during camp. That's not uncommon for a rookie OL to struggle with the Broncos. Their starting center is hurt and I think they like the fact Kory can play center as well as guard.
Scott M made the Chargers roster. This was not a surprise since they signed him to a contract extention in the offseason. Scott will probably be starting soon if not this year due to a injury in front of him.
Shaun S and Khary C made the Redskins roster. Neither were really in any danger of not making the roster. Khary is a special team phenom and a dependable backup at linebacker. Shaun had no competition from another kicker the entire camp.
