"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

I'm going to pin this at the top so we can coordinate plans and stuff....

I think we'll probably get there around 3-ish? It'll depend on the pregnant wife.... it's also Black Swamp Arts Festival weekend, which is kind of our wedding anniversary "thing" so we may be hitting that first... not sure.

In any case... can't wait to see everyone!!

It's our wedding anniversary weekend also. I'm taking 1/2 day off Friday so I can have Saturday. I love my wife and the 10 years we've been together, but this is big-time BG football! I plan on rolling in around one-ish.

My plans are probably to arrive sometime between noon and two, depending on what various friends want to do. I still haven't decided what I want to cook yet, I'll have to come up with something this week.

I'll be there around noon with our portable TV for whatever game is on ABC. I hope a strong contingent of Minny fans show up as well, it'll add to the atmosphere.

I'll be out in the lots around 2. Can't wait to drink some cold ones, toss the football around, play some cornhole, grill out, and have some fun. I expect a huge tailgating crowd. Last year's home opener was pretty packed. Add in our win over pitt, a big ten team coming to the doyt, and plenty of area excitement for BG football and this is gonna be a big time tailgating day.

I'm flying into CAK on Thursday. Spending Friday with 'Ma and 'Pa (maybe taking in my high school alma mater game-GO LAKE BLUE STREAKS!). Then, trekking up to BG VERY early Sat. morning. The plan is a beer in-hand on the east side of the Doyt by noon. I'm looking forward to meeting the AZZ crew. I'll be flying solo ( well, sorta, I'll have Captain and coke for those who requested it). LET'S GO AND MAKE IT 2 AND O!!!!

I want to be there early, but I'll have future in-laws here that includes a 3 year old, so they probably won't want to trek over until 6ish. I may just have to tell them that I'm leaving much earlier.
