Minny Forum

Anyone know what the Minny fan forum is? I did a quick search and didn't come up with anything. The NCAABBS hasn't been logged into since June it looks like.

I tried gopher hole and it hadn't had a post in months.

I must just be completely non-internet savvy.

Yeah, Niz, I think you hit the nail on the head. I found plenty of recent material on Gopher Hole, just make sure you scroll down on the football forum page. It's poor design, but it's all there.

MN Boards

Post by DWGinNE »

Most of the serious Minnesota talk is done on the Rivals premium forum (Gopher Illustrated).

The MN Scout board is dead; the MN Rivals free board is hit or miss -- a lot of the premium board posters never check the free board. The Gopher Hole is an active open board but you need a score card to tell the players -- there are a few good posters, some crossovers from the Rivals board, a lot of chaff and misinformation and the occasional Eurotrash from around the Big 10 http://www.gopherhole.com

The two main papers are the Minneapolis Star - Tribune http://www.startribune.com and the St. Paul Pioneer Press http://www.twincities.com[/url]

Gopher hole?

Crossovers?

Eurotrash?

That's some board. It all sounds pretty kinky to me. I guess the closed season is pretty tame around here, after all.

over on their forum on gloryhole or whatever it is they are mad, ticked, and feel downright disrespected by us on azz. people were saying that because we had a fluke win against pitt and that they didnt realize bgsu was such a football juggernaut that people on azz were predicting an easy win. does anybody really think its going to be easy? i sure as hell dont. but after the first quarter we did out play pitt pretty soundly.......

A fluke win against Pitt? How about their "fluke" win against a team that was predicted last in the MAC West?

Can you provide a link? I didn't find anyone saying anything about the win being a fluke. I did find people that thought it was funny that BGSU is talking about going undefeated allready, and the only discussion is whether BGSU will win by a little or a lot.

I have respect for MN. I also think BG is the better team and should win this game. Nothing "flukey" about that. It's just an opinion.

I don't hink too many of us..if any..are talking about an unbeaten season. Boise State is going to be a huge challenge and there's almost always a stubbed toe or two in MAC play.

I think it's great that the program has advanced to the point where we have a Big 10 team...even a rebuilding one...coming to our place as an underdog.

I think it will be a c lose game, but it is one we should win
It's not the fall that hurts...it's when you hit the ground.

Here you go, Beanhead! Note condescending, sarcastic, ARROGANT title:

http://thehole84398.yuku.com/topic/5928 ... lcons.html

Here is my favorite entry:

"Bowling Green *ONLY* had 254 yards of total offense. No way in hell they'll beat us playing like they did against Pitt. I was able to watch the game and the ending score doesn't tell the whole story. We keep the turnovers under 2 and we'll pull this one off no problem........"

"No way in hell?" LMAO!!!!!

I don't know about the rest of the people on this forum, but I'd much rather talk positive about BG than go bash the gophers...with most of this bunch, you're barking up the wrong tree PH.
