How close is it to a sell out?

I would be curious to know. I'm likely taking my 4.9 year old to the game for a "Daddy-Vicki" day of frivolity and fun. I don't think I've even considered buying a ticket before the game since NIU's last stand at The Doyt L. Perry stadium.

I wouldn't wait too long if you want a premo seat, but then again DLP stadium doesn't really have a bad seat.

Now it REALLY sucks that I won't make this game. I haven't seen Vicki in a long time. Hopefully she will make it to another game this season???

I doubt however hard they try to make things otherwise, that I'll sit anyplace different than I normally do. Unless they've assigned seat nazis everyplace.

I would think she will. I'm trying to figure how to explain "tailgates" and why she can't drink the "apple juice" folks have!

Actually, if BGfan is reading, I think he took a picture a couple seasons back, where she was up on my shoulders watching a game. I know he took it, I was looking at him as he did. I'd kill to get a copy of it, assuming my mug didn't break the camera!

The real show will be when Ben makes his first appearance. The boy at 2 is rapidly approaching his sisters verbal skills at 4. I dream of a "Lion King" moment, where I hold him aloft at the top of the stadium, and let him hell "Come'on Ref!"

Not to outdo you, but my favorite is holding my son Logan on my shoulders (which was far easier 5 years ago) in the Gameday crowd holding up a sign that said "Look Mom I'm on ESPN Gameday" and the camera's caught it.
About 7 people called our house immediately, causing the wife to tune in and see the sea of madness we were in the middle of.
It was in search of that tv coverage that led me to this board...and thanks again to Major Flacon and ZZ for the Gameday DVD!

Later on in Legacy Boy's film career, the Motor City Bowl developed a commerical with lots of MAC school crowd shots. Again, on top of my shoulders he was caught at the exact moment of BG's first touchdon in the 4th Quarter against Northwestern.

Next up Big Ten Network cameo....Beat Minnesota!

Ironically, the only time I got yelled at for sitting where I didn't belong was the Miami game in '06. Even then they would have left us alone if we weren't yelling obscenities at Ryne Robinson.
