Very impressive atmosphere at Ball State tonight

I was very impressed with the atmosphere at Ball State tonight. The place was just packed, red all over the place, the crowd was very loud, and the stadium was full until the very end (nice not to see a mass exodus at halftime no matter the score). The stadium looks great since I was there a couple years ago before the new press tower, hill and columns in the endzone and FieldTurf was all put in place. They really revamped the place and it looks great, and most importantly, Ball State won. That was one of the better looking MAC atmospheres I have seen on TV and hopefully we can exceed it tomorrow night and also come out with a win ourselves. Hats off to Ball State, and let’s go BG!!!

Why would there be a mass exodus at halftime of a 21-16 ESPN game?
But yeah - good showing for BSU tonight. Nate Davis should get more national pub than he does.

Watched a lot of the game...and I agree. Place looked great. Navy is a solid team so this is a BiG win for the Cards. I picked them to win the West this year...they look good. Daniel Ifft from Dover dropped a sure TD pass though.

They talked about his dad coaching at Dover HS> Nice plug for the hometown and alma mater.
GO FALCONS!!

I think Davis might be the best player in the conference, and that's saying something with LeFevour at CMU. Nate did throw a couple boneheaded INTs, but his balls were pretty much on the money most of the night. That drop by Ifft was really bad, too, Freak. Perfect pass and he was WIDE open...that's gotta sting a little for him.

That's my point exactly. I was taking a jab at the way our crowd at home games seems to get cut in half after halftime. I've never understood it.
