Referred to the Gophers as "Minneapolis" instead of Minnesota a number of times and he botched the 50/50 number. I know I'm forgetting a few...

Maybe we should start a weekly thread devoted to his miscues.... :-)

He was definitely bad. What else is new there though?

Maybe they could just pipe the radio broadcast in the stadium since there isn't any stations in the vicinity that you could actually listen to?

Really am sick and tired of that guy screwing up. Pick up the freaking pronunciation guide too you idiot. After four years, #30's name is pronounced AIR-Reek, not Eric. :x

I always have, and still always will, think he sounds like a robot. If you were a nertural fan at the game you wouldn't know which time was the home team, he announces plays for each the same way. I wish the volleyball or men's basketball PA person also did football

All I know is that when you notice the announcer because of his MANY mistakes, it is BAD! (Especially when it is a home game!)

I don't think anyone from the athletic department listens to his announcing, or he would have been gone long ago.

Why was only one ticket booth open on the east side? There was a line nearly 100 yards long, 45 minutes before the game.

So that explains people still filing in trying to find their seats well into the 2nd qtr?

Yeah, it had NOTHING to do with alcohol consumption.

This is a great thread! We were quite annoyed at the announcing as well!! Ok, question....Is it pronounced "Haneline" with a long A or "Henline" with a short e? I always thought it was pronounced with a Long A, as it "Hanes" underware. The announcer kept calling him "Henline."

I think it's actually pronounced "Migner".

I think he is worst than the team.
