Boy-Zee predictions....

Post by Rightupinthere »

It's all going to come down to coaching.......so we're screwed.

51-14 Broncos over Falcons.

We tie...only because I really have no prediction for this game. I can see it going either way really. It all depends which BG team shows up...I know last time we went there the defensive squad forgot to get on the plane! If Boise's D struggles and we play like we did against Pitt, we definitely have a shot.

It's a coin flip this week for me...and that flip just gave them the win.

My prediction?

35-32 BGSU wins. I just like picking them as long as it's a game they have a legitimate shot in.

Yeah, I hope Gregg Brandon doesn't fumble four times this week.

I didn't say that regarding last week, sunshine. I'm going off of the past five-plus years.

Carry on.

This is a really hard call for me now. Earlier this year, it seemed like this would be a sure loss, but we've played much better than I would have expected. Really it took 4 turnovers to take us out of the Minnesota game, so assuming we don't have that happen again, I like our chances against anybody on our schedule.

That being said, Boise is UNBEATABLE at home. Period. They have the biggest home field advantage in college football. So I'm going to go with the Broncos here.

Like 24 said, Boise State has the best home field advantage, bar none. I hate picking against our boys but when the sked came out, this game was the one I didn't think we'd win.

I know we have a chance...my heart says:

BG 31, Boise State 30.

And my mind tells me:

Boise State 38, BG 21.

The Broncos simply don't lose on that blue turf...ever. IF BG pulls out a win there, I will drive to BG and wait for the team to get back. It will be very difficult to win at Boise so I am just being realistic.

I'm not saying this is a lock for us but I will say if you can hold our offense to just 17 points I'll be MUCHO impressed with your defense!

We are flat out LOADED on offense this year. We go 4 deep at RB without a drop off and with Ian that is saying something. This is the most deep we have EVER been at WR and our QB has the #2 passer rating in the country.

At that to being home on the blue where we have scored an average of EXACTLY 49 points per game since 2002 (including 53 we dropped on Oregon State when they had one of the top D's in the PAC 10) and it would be an impressive feet to hold us to 17.

Now, our defense is what I worry about. If BG does win it would be something like 35-31 or even a 49-45 type of score. FWIW.

And I must say I'm really bummed you guys laid an egg against the Big Ten last week. I pegged you to win that one. After we beat you I hope you win out! ;)

He posted Boise State would win 35-17...meaning BG would only score 17.
