Men against boys out there tonight....

...... just men against boys. This is like watching 2005 all over again. I just hope Turner's injury isn't serious, he took a shot.

You don't have to ask me - just continue posting your 8 mega-paragraphs after each loss, each in their own thread nauseously detailing to everybody what we already know. We're all really looking forward to it.

8,835 threads and I started another. Thanks for policing the site, just be sure not to let another one skate by with a new thread. We're counting on you!

I don't know how all of you can go absolutely berserk over a 13 point loss at Boise. Yeah we didn't play great, so what? This was the hardest game on our entire schedule.

A victory at Wyoming, and we're back.

We did hang in there in the second half. We make those early FG's and one of those late drives could have been for the win. It was men vs. men in the second half.

Honestly, we keep two turnovers deep in their zone and it's a victory. No one really should be THAT mad!

FF1 said that Beam DID NOT fumble. All replays showed he was down. WIth Boise 59-2 at home, we are not going to get that call. Tough to win there==ask the other 59 teams.

Maybe USC could beat them....
I did like Brandon's comment that we won the 2nd half. Our defense played them tough and didn't quit. Our offense needs to find its mojo.

I thought his knee was down too, as did the announcers who were clearly in favor of BSU. But, when you don't secure the ball, you run the risk of this happening. He certainly lost the ball, but after his knee was down.

All the replay views they showed seem to agree with him. Unfortunately, there was just enough gray area to leave the "inconclusive" escape for the referee. It was funny (not) how in the first half a Boise RB fumbled and three Falcons seemed to jump on it, but an official ran in, looked around and with no real signal at all gave Boise the ball. The Beam play, he ran to the spot, then looked and saw the ball out and went over to the pile. There's no way he wasn't down before that ball came out.

Boise showed all the replays on their board. Boise knew they got a gift there. but..if you don't cough it up..you don't worry.

Men against boys?.....

If our kicker doesn't miss a couple, we're heading in there for the possible go ahead score in the 4th qtr. The defense did a great job in the second half after struggling quite a bit in the first. Not real pleased to see us lose a winnable game, but I'm not gonna get all spastic and weepy over this one.

Congrats to Boise, they showed why they're 59-2 there at home. IMHO, the blue turf and the ad boards that run around the perimeter of the field are bush league, but hey if it works for you guys, I guess that's what counts.... :-)
It's not the fall that hurts...it's when you hit the ground.
