Sucks for Steve Sanders...

...that he has finally made the team with the Browns and they are so utterly horrible. Steptoe has done nothing to warrant the start the first three weeks. Although, I will say they haven't exactly look his way much. Anderson has been so bad its hard to evaluate any of the receivers. But U have seen enough to know Edwards has been awful.

With Stallworth and Jurevicius coming back soon, Steve will probably be headed back to the practice squad without ever getting a fair look. Best case scenario would be for Quinn to replace Anderson and Steve to get some reps. Quinn will throw to all receivers while DA looks only to K2 and Braylon.

Sanders and Anderson seemed to have some sort of a scuffle on the sidelines.

It was Sanders and Edwards. Anderson was holding Sandman back.

Dysfunction reigns....

There's that matchup against Michigan we've been craving for so long. GO BG!

Is Steve getting any playing time today? I havn't been able to watch the game yet, heading out in just a little bit to find a good tlevision.

Heard his name mentioned a couple of times, so yes, he DID get in...but to my knowledge, had nothing thrown his way. Radio guys said he'd been "pulled down" by a Cincy DB late in 1st half, but no call... Who knows? Of greater interest would be the "scuffle' with Edwards, you know the FORMER All-Pro.

He had a ball thrown his way, but it looked like Sanders and Edwards ran the same route, or we too close together on the play. The throw was not the best, and neither guy caught it.

TBH Steptoe had a couple of decent catches today. Edwards need to get his head together and stop dropping balls.

A win is a win. Hopefully they can pull together with the bye week, and play well at home in 2 wks vs the Giants.

I was at the game and I think Steve was only in for a couple of plays. Had one thrown in his direction, but was no where near anywhere he could catch it.

If they want to play Steptoe because he is a better receiver, that is fine. But the dude is tiny and can't block anyone, especially a def end. If they send him in motion and have him stop at the end of the line with the expectation he will block that guy, I will guarantee who makes the tackle on that play EVERY time. Steve is much bigger and has a hell of a lot better chance of blocking that guy and making that play work.

As you all know Im a Pittsburgh and a Browns fan. That comes from growing in a very Browns house.
The browns need a different coach, they have the talent. What they are capable of and what they are producing dont mesh.
but Romeo must go.

My daily Romeo vent:

Why at the end of the first half when we had them at 4th down going for a field goal and two timeouts, did we not stop the clock with 46 seconds and give ourselves a chance to move it into field goal range ourselves. Instead we get it with 5 seconds and do nothing with it. BUT, the good news is we took a timeout to the locker room with us!!! WOOOOOO!

I hate him....

I didn't think it was possible to be a fan of both teams.

This explains why MACMAN is so bipolar on everything.
