How many times do we have to go through this? Perfect football weather is rainy, muddy or snowy and muddy. And as great as the FieldTurf looks, nothing beats a grass field in the rain or snow.

Yeah right....where were you vs. Miami??
There is no other way to finish a season other than yelling at the top of your lungs among BG's players holding the Peace Pipe aloft!

That wasn't football - it was mud wrestling.

Trust me, football players love the crappy weather. It was so much fun as a lineman to put your fingers in the mud on the first play from scrimmage and try to smash somebody down into the mud. BG's offense just isn't designed to operate well in extremely crappy weather.

Crappy weather- sucks.
Playing in mud- sucks.

It's not football when the turf is so bad that players can't cut. I'll take field turf anytime. Unless you can grow the grass like they do at SEC schools and we can't.

Northwest ohio weather vs alabama/florida/georgia/louisiana weather, yeah I can see why we can't grow grass here.

Awesome weather because I will have my wife and daughter in tow. Nicer weather makes for a nicer time for me.

I can't believe this thread has pushed down to a turf discussion. The battle is O-V-E-R and plastic won. B-F-D.
