Besides the D, the one area BG seems to have improved is making adjustments at halftime. Let's see what happens but my guess is final score BG 34-14.

Unless I'm mistaken, if it was a Brandon game from 2006 the team would've given up after we had gone down by that field goal.

Nice call Zulu :P Hey, s**t happens. This sucks, but it's still early. We do absolutely NEED to win-out though. I haven't pressed the panic button just yet, but I've got my finger pretty close to it.

Can we tell the band to not play when we are on offense? Playing the end of Sweet Caroline really isn't all that important. The fourth quarter they were playing during play calls and when we were trying to hike the ball.

Thank you! We might be the only band in America (besides high schools) who decide to play while we're calling the cadences. We might have a good band just not one with much football common sense.

In all honesty, a lot of us band members do not like Sweet Caroline and as for that playing part when you guys are calling cadences, that was just a bad decision on the drum majors i think. We try to stop playing when you guys get out of the huddle and again that was just a bad judgment call.

1, BG doesn't huddle. 2, it happened more than just Sweet Caroline, it happens all the time.

I also never understood on 3rd and 10 we gain 6 yards and play ay-ziggy-zoomba like something good happened.

Like Strouse said, the band has to do what the Drum Majors say. Our Drum Majors do the best they can but they can't see the field to know when play is starting. We do our best to let them know what's happening behind them. The couple times when we really screwed up and played right through the play on the field Matt felt really bad about it. One complaint I do have about us is the wave. I hate it, I think it detracts from the game in a big way. Maybe I'm reading way too much into it but I wish we wouldn't do it.

And Neil Diamond was cool at the hockey games. It needs to be nixed everywhere else.

+1 times 1,000 No one likes it except apparently the athletic department.
