Remember when SI had us going 10-2 on the year and unbeaten in the MAC?

Anyone predicting double digit wins with a GB coached team is smoking crack anyway.

That game was an absolute joke. The way the last 2 minutes was handled was the f'in worst. Pee-wee teams know to stay inbounds and then not throw it on 3rd down. EMU should have gotten the ball back with 20 seconds not a minute thirty.
If Brandon isn't fired tomorrow it's a travesty. Personally the worst loss I've ever seen. Worse than Tulsa worse than Miami, the end of the game was an absolute joke.

Well I'm sure if you buy out his salary they'd be happy to fire him.
That was a joke. In my opinion it was worse than the Temple loss.

I can't wait to see the spin he puts on this one.

Brandon teams are so undisciplined it's stupid. Holdings, false starts, off sides, and then Corey with a personal foul.

I've been following BG football since I was a kid (30+ years) and I'm just ab out done with Coach Brandon. Preparation was lacking, focus lacking, dumb plays, dumb play calls, dumb decisions.

This is the first day I have ever been truly ashamed to be a Bowling Green Falcon. I feel like I've been misled. I feel like I've been tricked. I feel like I've been wasting my time, my energy, and my fan-dom on a team that truly, beyond the hype, sucks complete ass.
I had plans to go to Akron next week. It'll take a major change of heart for me to even move one step toward the Rubber Bowl now. In fact, I'm not sure I'll be attending any more games this season. I just can't take the heartbreak any longer. I'm done.

As I was leaving the stadium the thing I heard most was, this is the last game I'll be at this year.

When we got the ball back, 21-17 lead, I told myself, "Let's put up one more to put this away." Then we started running the ball, and I thought to myself, "Why are we doing this? This strategy only works if we get first downs. Then we were getting first downs. Then, we started being stupid. Just put up another score. Instead, we were out there playing to not lose.

I must be mellowing in my old age, or maybe seeing us play like s**t at home has become my expectation. Either way, I am becoming numb to these outcomes and just seem less interested every time it happens.

Series of events:
2nd and 6. 1:30 to go, run out of bounds.
3rd and 6. 1:20 something left, incompletion.
All we had to do was pound it up the gut on 2nd down to force EMU to use their last TO with 1:20 to go, then do the same on 3rd down. After the punt EMU would have had less than 30 seconds to go almost 80 yards to score a TD and win the game. Instead we hand them the ball by running 2 plays that stop the clock and then let them march down the field like it was a 7 on 7 drill.
