I thought we had a nice crowed yesterday. The student section was packed, as was the west side of the stadium. The east side wasn't full but it wasn't exactly empty.
Other than the outcome, the atmosphere was great.

I'm sorry was someone talking about attendance, I was too distracted by BGTIMMy's avatar.

Somebody thought we had a nice crowd yesterday?? I was on the West side, and there were empty seats just about everywhere. And the student side was the same. The official count was something around 16+ thousand. That's not a "nice" crowd for Bowling Green. You'd expect homecoming to be packed -- especially on such a beautiful day!

In the 40 years BG has been playing at DLP, 16,000 is our average crowd. And I, too, am being distracted by BGTIMMY's avatar.

As bad as it sounds, the 16k or so we had was pretty good considering the other games going on at the time. I was pleased by the outcome and considering that from what I saw, the majority of the crowd didn't leave until the 4th quarter which was really good considering the ohio state game started at 8.

I think the student section looks better because the students are actually sitting in the 3 sections towards the Doyt rather than spreading out in the lower sections toward the Falcon Club.

16,217 fans got ripped off! Horrible football, horrible coaching and lack of effort by many of the BGSU players. That's the way I saw it. I will not be back this year, call be fair weather but I refuse to watch poor football when their are many other things to do.

That doesn't surprise me to see you say that when you have "OSU" in your name...
either way...even if I wasn't in the FMB, you'd still see me at the rest of the home games this year.

It was really only about 16,000 that got ripped off. The couple hundred EMU fans got their moneys worth.
I will be there for the remaining home games. However, I'm going to need to see some consistent effort before I go hitting the road to watch this team. I won't be wasting another Saturday at Akron this weekend and a trip to Chicago for NIU is out the window too. Play with some effort, desire, and intelligence, and I will make the trips to OU and UT. Otherwise, I will listen on Stretch.

As said before "Strouse", OSUFLACON means I'm an OSU grad but grew up in BG and have always been a Falcon Fan. I've been a season ticket holder and can't get anyone to go most of the time. Call a spade a spade, this team lacks heart and desire. More importantly a coach that can inspire.

can we shut up about attendance for more than a day? It is what it is...live with it.

It's not a freakin' job, man. Have a beer, eat a brat, and try to have some fun.
