I'm sorry, but somebody has to say it:

Get over yourself. He didn't like what the band did. Hell, I said their halftime performance sucked. You can't please everybody. But, to drag it on and on like you are is only bringing more attention to the fact that some people dislike the band. If you would have let him say his thing and ignored it, that thread over there that is 9 pages long would have been about 2-3 pages and probably already dead.

YOU are actually hurting the band in this instance.
