I was leaving my class in the education building at 3:45 today and this guy was handing out these free DVD's about the BG/UT rivalry game. I haven't had a chance to watch it yet but I was wondering if anyone else got one and if they had a chance to watch it.
I'll let you guys know what it's like when I watch it!

So I just watched the DVD... a few notes:
The first half of the DVD was about the rivalry
The second half was about the players and coaches accepting God and Jesus into their lives
Players and Coaches that spoke in the DVD BG-wise include:
Steve Sanders
Dennis Springer
Kenneth Brantley
Zach Azzanni
Kyle Cutler (sp? I can't read my own writing!)
Gregg Brandon
Andy Grubb
Jonathan Jakubowski
and former Falcon Mark Miller at the end
The DVD ended with a former UT player asking everyone to pray with him if they are willing to accept God into their lives.
It's not badly done. It was refreshing to see that players on both teams have a strong religious background.

so you initial thought that it was propaganda turned out to be true?

Well in a way yes...but I was expecting it to be 100% UT propoganda.

Ah well...one person's "propoganda" is another person's "outreach".

God could care less about college football.. he focuses on more important things like the NFL, NBA and the hockey strike

This was put out by the FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes) and another religious organization which the name escapes me right now.

no they were right Grant, God could care less. If he didnt care some, no way ohio state woulda won that nat'l title, and no way peoepl would think Larry Coker is a good coach.
