According to Cbssportsline.com, Bowling Green is currently ranked 87th overall this week. This comes after we were dumped from 63rd all the way down to 101st after losing to EMU. We gained 14 spots back after beating Akron last week.

By comparison, we didn't take as big a hit in the Sagarin rankings after the EMU game, and we're hanging in at 70th overall. Notable here is that Sagarin rates our schedule as 39th toughest in the nation. We'll see if it ranks in the top 80 or so once the season is over, we play some really bad teams before it's all over.

Unfortunately, this is a no-win week in terms of the rankings, as a victory won't do much more than keep us where we are now, and a loss will probably drop us into triple-digit numbers. Miami is rated 112th overall in the CBS rankings and a whopping 144th in the Sagarin rankings. Ironically, EMU is a spot ahead of Miami in both polls!
