Does anyone have any information on recruiting? Or where I can find some (websites and such.) I got a buddy who was getting recruited by them but they haven't been in touch with him lately. Has their recruiting become Stagnet?

Stagnet? Is he the TE from Lakeside?
Look at rivals.com., scout.com or just do a google search for Bowling green football recruiting using both the web and news filters and you should find some info.
Out of curiosity...who's your friend?

Looking at Rivals, they have us as the highest ranked team in the MAC with 13 recruits committed for next year. Scout has us with 13 as well. Miami, by comparison, has 8 and 20 minutes north has 2. Good job by the all the coaches by continuing on getting these players locked in early. Look for recruits at the Miami game from the class of 2010!

If Scout has us with 13, then they've done a great job of "catching up" as they've had us listed with EIGHT for the longest time...As to us being #1 in the MAC, remember that these are just VERBALS...and only those that the sites (and us?) know about... Feb. will be the telling time, as that's when these kids can officially sign LOI's.
I DO wish (as I understand many coaches do) that there was an Early signing period for FB players, similar to what basketball has...but then again, it would take half the mystery and anticipation out of this. I understand, from a very reliable source, that our ACTUAL verbals are somewhere around 17 or so. We'll just have to wait it out and see.

As was reported earlier on this site, they said on the Monday radio show a few weeks ago that we had 19 (NINETEEN) verbals so far and were just about finished.
