There have been a variety of points raised on here about why people didn't come(I didn't) and why you won't come back.

I think you should all share your thoughts with our AD. He is pretty good at answering a reasonable letter with legit questions.

Anybody got anything they want to say?

If you want to run a respectable football program, you have to find the donors to pony up and pay for a REAL coaching staff. For starters, you can save money by making Gregg Brandon chose a single offensive coordinator.

Donors have stepped up for facilities all over campus. It's time to beat the pavement and find donors that can help us raise the level of pay for our coaching staff so that we can attract some real talent in that area.

Also - please speak with Coach Brandon about the terribly unsportsmanlike conduct happening on the field before and during the game. For many of us, the manner in which the team conducts itself on and off the field is just as important as wins and losses, maybe more. After all the off-field problems this year, and now the problems on the field with the ridiculous taunting and personal foul penalties, I'm embarrassed to be a fan of this program.

Attitude and behavior reflect leadership, and I haven't seen much lately.

As a student who has been to every home game since the '04 season, I've found that this has gotten worse. My freshman year, it seemed like we earned the respect we carried. Now it seems like we carry respect we aren't deserving of. The quality of our football team seems to be going downhill. Keep in mind guys (and gals) that I'm not saying this out of the hatred that we lost the game today to Miami. I'm saying this as a student who has seen every home game since '04. There are just some things that can't just be thrown to the wayside and hope that it goes away and this is one of them. It almost appears that our coaching staff has gotten too lazy in the disciplinary areas, and unless we fix that, I honestly don't think we'll be able to truly fix anything else that's wrong with this team. In all honesty, we need someone with Meyer's attitude towards the game to get this team back to shape.

In any case, the Miami game is done, over with, and in the books...therefore...

My disappointedness (my new word for the day) comes from the attitude the players bring from the field to the sidelines after a call they don't agree with. The language they are literally screaming in front of recruits and their families with all the others there for family weekend...it was just uncalled for.

I can understand some to an extent, it's a sporting event and they are worked up. In fact I was glad to see some emotion. But do you need to scream and yell the same words from the field all the way to the bench, then as you go through the team closer to the fans, then turn and start going off on your other teammates? I saw the guys walk right by the coaches without a care, our AD didn't even turn his head to acknowledge.

Like J4H said earlier, "Attitude and behavior reflect leadership, and I haven't seen much lately." This was coming from someone I've heard our coach call a leader on the team I don't know how many times! I'm sorry, but I don't think the team leaders should lose their cool like that.

However, after watching most of the game again last night on tv, I am not as upset about the personal calls. A few of them were honestly BS and the announcers were even agreeing. Some of the attitudes just need to change as it feels like this team is falling apart from the upper regions down, and from inside out at the same time.
