FW BG Backers!

I just don't see how we draw 10k for either of the remaining home games. Any of you that live 2+ hours away and still continue to watch this team? I give you my kudos, see me at the next game, I'll hook you up with a cold one, you deserve it. Thanks again Gregg-ster...you make it feel like a chore to attend football games that I once loved.
What I could use is someone to hook me up with a cold one when I can't make the trip to BG or wherever we're playing.

I'm not going to enter too much the conversation of how bad this team is performing. I bought season tickets for the first time this year, and I can't afford to get too negative about this home record. We can only hope that from some of this adversity there are some lessons or younger players on which they can start building a better program.

Yesterday, due to family activities, I had to skip the trip to BG. I could have made the trip, but I would have not made the Doyt until after halftime. Sooo, I decided to watch the game at a local bar, and for the second time this year, I watched the game alone. (on a 52" bigscreen, with sound, and great chicken wings).

Calling all BG alumni and/or BG football fans in the Fort Wayne area.
Wrigley Field Bar and Grill has all the games, and they also have excellent food.

I'll be posting updates this week in regards to the next meeting of the Fort Wayne BG Backers this week. :D

Ok all you Fort Wayne area BG backers I have good news. The NIU game is going to be up on one of the big screens down at Wrigley Field Bar and Grill. The weather is going to be crappy so put on some orange and brown and come on down.

Hello.... Hello?

Ok, this might be a bit of an uphill battle right now. ](*,)

Not enough hours in the day....

I think it's a great thing that you're pushing. Don't know what kind of alumni group Fort Wayne has, but you can probably send a note to the alumni association (bgsualumni.com) and they can pass word along if there is a chapter up there.

For me, it's a bit of a commute, and I have to work at 3:30 anyway.

Thanks for the compliment, and truth be told I've never actually met another BGSU alumnus living in FW in my thirteen years here. However, it was someone on this forum that directed me to try WFB&G for a chance to view the Falcons on TV (I can't remember who). Then, I talked to one of the owners last week and he said a group used to come in and watch MiamiOH games. So I thought, what the heck.
The last I checked there's no chapter up here, but I sure your absolutely right in your suggestion that I utilize more resources.
