I'm surprised were 81. I thought we would be in the 90s.

Wait until next year. Golden is building a really good program. If he sticks around, they could be something special.

I too am equally surprised with our ranking. I think we were spotted 15 places just for beating Pitt, cuz i have seen nothing out of this team since then that would qualify us to be a top 80 team. The talent is there, the will is not.

Temple beat Miami (I think), Miami beat us (I'm sure).

Yes they did 28-10. So technically, they should be ranked ahead of us.

Temple is also ahead of us in another place where it is more important than a poll like this - the MAC East standings:

UA 2-2
TU 2-3
MU 1-2
BG 1-2
UB 1-2
OU 1-3
KSU 0-3

Kind of sad that Pittsburgh got beat by such a "bad" team like ourselves. Betcha Boise feels sick to their stomachs that they had to punt in all 7 of their possessions in the second half against such a "bad" team like ourselves.

That team isn't the same "bad" team that trotted out against EMU and Miami, let's just say that.
