Bowling Green vs Northern Illinois Predictions

Prediction Thursday has come. Last week I correctly (unfortunately) saw Miami's upset of BG coming, and was only a few points off on the score. That was my best prediction of the year so far, I'm 4-3 overall.
What do I see this week?
Honestly, I see BG playing their best game of the year since Pittsburgh. Sheehan and the offense get it going, and GB calls a much more aggressive offensive game, with a greater emphasis on getting the ball downfield. NIU, not an offensive juggernaut, will struggle to keep up. BG wins this one to get back to .500, and I'll be thinking twice about ending the boycott early.
Bowling Green 35
Northern Illinois 21
Bgsufalcon24's probability of victory - 70% (added a premium in there since the game is on the road)

Brandon locks the bus instead of a gate now. We never even make it to the field.

NIU is a good team and I thought this would be a loss coming into the season. All signs point to another loss this weekend, but I think we will pick it up enough to win another road game. This is the type of "the season is definitely over if we lose" game that my teams (Browns and BG) seem to win which gives hope to the fan base before coming back to reality in the following weeks.

BG is 3-4-0 in Dekalb with an average loss margin of 1.43 points.
I'll stick with that and say that BG loses 14 to 12.57.
I wouldn't be surprised if the NIU defense keeps Gregg Brandon's program out of the endzone this game.

I made the last two trips to Huskie stadium when and watched us lay two eggs. Hopefully not going this time will be the ticket.

While we may be 3-4 there with some close losses, when was the last time we actually won or were competitive there? It has to be in either 2000 or earlier.

A rather convincing loss is what I foresee.

The team locks the gates, Brandon can't leave DLP, the team goes to NIU alone, and wins by 10.
Oh who am I fooling......

46??? Man, now THERE'S a doom and gloom prediction if I've ever seen one. Nice job NWLB. Hopefully you'll have to change your post picture again after this week.

I don't see BG scoring 20 points. So I don't see BG winning.

Don't say I'm never looking on the bright side then!

1998 was a win against a 2-9 NIU team. 11 points was the spread. Before that, BG won again by 10 in 1985. NIU has only won once in 8 tries IN Bowling Green. Their only win in BG was against an Ankney led club in 1986.
