Not about the outcome. That was expected.
Here's the scenario. NIU has just driven down the field with nothing but runs to just crush our spirits and kick the winning FG with 11 seconds left. Prior to the kickoff, the camera pans in on on our esteemed leader....and what do we see?
We see our head coach f**king joking around with an official with a god damn smile on his face.

Couple of things:
1) It was 12 seconds.
2) He's not MY leader. My leader is 911_was_an_inside_job.*

You can't be COMPLETELY disgusted. Save some for the rest of the season.

How could we not play the QB draws. I knew he wasn't going to throw more than 5yds down field. Yet he was still able to rip off runs of 10yds. Its time to start thinking about a new head coach.

duh. a new head coach? you think so? my dead grandma could coach this team to more wins. what a loser. 8 wins last year, tons of players back and he won't get 5 this year.

The season appears to be over.

To elaborate:(in this game) The first time I saw Sheehan ditch the pocket prematurely I knew it was going to be a bad day. There's alot of you that will say that this is old news, but all I'm trying to say is that it is time to start a good QB controversy and abandon the coaching controversy. The coaching controversy gets us no where this year.

There's plenty of blame to go around. The offense is non-functional at this point. How we went from 45 points a game not so long ago to this is my biggest question.
It needs to be completely torn down and built back up from scratch, because the defense can still keep this team in games.

All this cr_p is blurred; WE JUST SUCK and our opportunity is dismantled! Maybe next year as I said three weeks ago.
Same old mistakes

Once again a failure to score TD's in the red zone and simple attention to fundamental details produced another crushing loss. I don't know who called the plays before the second field goal for us, but why not give it to the power running Bullock down close and let him take it in? The plays that take too long to develop are not going to work against a good defense like Northern's.
The last punt block is simply inexcusable. The coaching staff needs to spend a lot more time getting everyone's assignments drilled into the players' minds so there are no more costly breakdowns. This has been an ongoing problem ever since Brandon has been there, and it needs to get fixed now! If we get a good punt away there, maybe the defense, as tired as they were, could have kept them from scoring and given us a chance to win in overtime.

I think J4H simply missed the conversation. It went something like this:
Official: Well, Coach, it was a good effort and I suppose this will be the last time I see you on the BG sideline. Good luck to you.
Brandon: What do you mean?
Official: Surely they're going to fire you after this disappointing season, right?
Brandon: (laughing) Not a chance. I have a buyout that they won't touch. I'll continue to bring this program down until after the 2011 season!

13 points is the most any team has scored against NIU in the last five games.
Huskie D has frustrated several teams once they got their sea legs after first few games this season.
