Has Kelley played the last 2 weeks? I haven't heard his name called on any plays. He's in my State & Local Gov't class but I never see him in it. Makes me wonder...
I agree though 87, it's time for the seniors to sack it up and play these last 4 games as if their life depended on it. There's still a small glimmer of hope...it's up to tthese guys to lead the way.

I think 87's point was NOT that these guys need to step up and become leaders (although maybe they do).jpfalcon09 wrote:Has Kelley played the last 2 weeks? I haven't heard his name called on any plays. He's in my State & Local Gov't class but I never see him in it. Makes me wonder...

I think his point was that we need to realize as poorly as this season has gone we still need to take the time to honor those that have given our program 4 years of guts. Unfortunately its starting to look like their hard work is not going to be rewarded with a national title, but they have still put in 4 long years of work.
What's so depressing to me is that there is a LOT of talent on that list. A lot of very good players that form the core of what should be a pretty darn good football team, and just, for whatever reason, isn't.

Many of these players have gone through the good, and the bad. It has been a pleasure to watch them on Satudays, and with four more games left I hope they step up and lead the way to four victories. Especially against that team 20 miles north.1987alum wrote:it's time for more focus on these people:

+1. I'll be there...despite what my anger filled post game post said Sat. 7-5, 5-3 MAC is still doable...one game at a time. 5-3 could win the East.daspollak wrote:Many of these players have gone through the good, and the bad. It's an early afternoon kick, right? I believe there's a hockey game at home that night.

Hickory is more than 20 miles north of Charlotte. You're thinking Davidson or Salisbury. Definitely not Meisenheimer.h2oville rocket wrote:You guys play against Hickory, N.C. High?daspollak wrote: Especially against that team 20 miles north.
Jimmy Johnson and the #48 Lowe's Monte Carlo are on the verge of a 3-peat!!!!

Eh, Hickory was the nearest town on the map I had. BG would struggle with Salisbury I think but Davidson is kinda downm this year. If you got them on the road you might have a shot.transfer2BGSU wrote:Hickory is more than 20 miles north of Charlotte. You're thinking Davidson or Salisbury. Re: In the midst of a rough season ...
If I thought we had a shot, ANY shot at running the table in November like we did last year, I would be at the Doyt screaming my head off for BG like I have been every home game for four years. But I don't believe it's possible, and thus I'm not going to set myself up for the inevitable heartbreak that will occur when Kent runs all over us and we fall to 0-4 at home.Falconfreak90 wrote:+1. Even if we win, we still need to win 3 more, including another game at home. The odds are terrible.
I'm sorry to get off on a tangent. Great motivation pictures guys. CP, Big #99, AT, those guys are warriors.
