Interesting note about our next opponent Ohio

Ohio's game against BG will be the Bobcats' only game between October 28th and November 22nd!!! That's six days short of a month!

I feel this is our biggest game of the year. Yeah, that phrase gets tossed around way too often and can be used every week. But I feel like if we can beat Ohio, I like our chances a lot better against Buffalo and Toledo. A BG win over OU would give us back-to-back wins for the first time this season, and it would also even our overall record (5-5) and MAC record (3-3) at .500. BG has beaten Ohio in five of the last six meeting but the Bobcats did beat the Falcons last year and were the only team to beat BG in Bowling Green last season.

I haven't been able to figure OU out this year. Flip a coin, and you have about as good a measure of what you'll face. Good team, bad team.

And OSU. Had it not been for a muffed punt late in the 3rd quarter they probably would've won that game.

Back to back wins sound rather appealing.

Yes. Win one game, and then win the next. Neat idea. Definitely worth trying.

That Boo Jackson guy is something else though. he's super inconsistent but he can run, and apparently throw too, as i've seen his numbers in the high 200s low 300s a few times. hopefully we can shut him down because I think that's about all they have going for them.

When is the game? Shouldn't somebody have started a Frank Solich thread by now?

It seems we did a good job of controlling Edelman(sp?) for the first half...did our defense just decide not to play the 2nd half?

I think if we execute the entire game against Ohio the way we executed in the first half of the Kent game, we should be just fine.

I think Boo Jackson has a field day.....but somehow we pull it out. Ohio is interesting indeed.....nearly beat OSU, then play horribly against Temple. Sounds like another MAC team I know of....... :vom:

I feel like you're talking about the Falcons? Just a guess...

Northwestern only had 280 yards against them and Ohio State only had 272 total yards and they had over 500 yards in total offense against Central Michigan in a 3 point loss on the road against CMU.

Actually, that game was played in Athens. Besides, home field advantage in the MAC is pretty much irrelevant.
