Well I mean, this happened back in what, July? How many more times are we going to have to bring this up? Are we going to have another sad news thread about this when Barrow is sentenced on January 12?

Look, we all know that this was a very terrible incident and that some of our players threw away their careers and threatened the lives and properties of others at the same time. It was a very black moment for our university and our program. But do we really need to beat this horse to death every time there is a new development in the case? I think not, but evidently nobody agrees with me.

I dont think anyone is trying to bring up old news. I for one am thankful that this was posted because I was just wondering the other day what ended up happening to them. So thanks for the post, I appreciate it!

No kidding, if that Yokel wants to look at crime statistics through the lens of race, perhaps he should take stock of the social inequalities that produce such statistics. This incident had everything to do with these guys being idiots, and nothing to do with being black.

I for one never heard of this story, so thanks for bringing it up. Definitely a black eye for the univ. :smt062 Did the paper really have to mention that he used to play for BG? Oh well. Hope justice is served, whatever that may be.

Yes. When you're put in an extraordinary position such as playing college football, you take the name of those around you down with you. The media will hold celebrities accountable when they squander their position by screwing up.

What a terribly written story! They were not looking for money, there was $500 sitting on the table that they had no interest in. They were definitely asking for weed. Also, the apartment was not ransacked at all.

Where did that reporter get her facts?!

24,

Not beating a dead horse here....Lord knows we have plenty of threads for doing that elsewhere. Just wanted everyone to know what was happening in court.
