The official attendance for the game was...drum roll please!!!!
4251!!!!!!!
All I can say is there must have been a lot of people in the press box. I saw MAYBE 500 there!

Yup, I was with BillChase, McMetz, Goofeyeuph, momtartin, and about 10 other BG fans. I am quite surprised to see that attendance number. The first thing that I thought about was whether that counts the season ticket holders. Either way, EMU held tough through the first half, and I loved just getting to tailgate, as opposed to being with the band all day. I'd also like to note that their "student section" consisted of about 20 kids, before we showed up. A truly sad showing by THEIR fan base. A great time was had by all, and again I'd like to thank Coach Genyk for the tickets, Jeff
They were sitting to the right of EMU's band. If you look at the first picture, they would be to the right of that big block of green and white. They had to have counted season ticket holders to get 4000...there is absolutely no way there was that many people there.

What a great day to be a senior at EMU Man would that ever suck. I was at a 1-AA game over the weekend that had 15,000 and there actually was that many.

Hey Metz, was the EMU band as annoying as it was last season when we played them? Ex. Playing through plays and every time it was not appropriate. ...It's really too bad because EMU has pretty nice facilites.

Not really. The people there love the band though so it's not that big a problem. I was asking the fans what cheers they had there so I could start them up and everyone kept saying, "Geesh, I don't know. You'll have to ask the band." The would probably enjoy the band playing through every play.
That place is a nice stadium and their convo center is incredible. I swear though, there were times you could hear a pin drop yesterday because it was so quiet. You could literally hear the NIU fans talking from the other side of the stadium.

Wouldn't you think that somebody in Ypsilanti, a suburb of Ann Arbor, would have realized it was a bad idea to play a game at the same time as the Ohio State-Michigan game? Idiots.

Maybe the only people you saw were band parents & players' parents.
