Hey, I may be able to go to the Toledo game coming up, but I was wondering if anyone knows of any source of Discounted/Free tickets around, as some of us are living on a teachers' salary.
Thanks for any help here,
Jeff

I called their ticket office a couple of weeks ago and ask for the cheapest tickets for a group of 14 people, and she quoted me $34 each, and I politely said NO THANK YOU. We'll stay in BG and watch it on TV!!
Any good sports bar want our tailgating group to show up?
They are really shooting themselves in the foot on this one! Maybe they could move the time to 6am too!

Damn....$34 each. I'm hoping they pull some kind of special offer out cuz that is highway robbery. And like a choch, I'll be getting 3.

Boy, $34 apiece? That might make me reconsider making the trip, especially considering I'll be driving from Strongsville instead of BG. That's a lot of frickin money for a game.

From the stories told earlier in the season.... not likely in BG.

Perrysburg BWW has definitely been the most receptive to showing BG games throughout the season. Personally I don't think there are any good sports bars in BG, period.
However, I would think that you could this game on any of the screens in any sports bar in BG or otherwise, I don't think there are any other games going on at the time, are there? Certainly no OSU/UM games that would take precedent over BG, so you should be fine at any of the BG establishments.

I think the only question would be is does the bar carry ESPN Classic?

Except if the Jim Tressel show is on at that time.

My season tickets were $48. On the other hand $34 for the only game in the U.S. that matters is a bargain, no? I say the U.S. because Arsenal and Man U is pretty big, too. Right, Zom?

I say if they get a discount together for a group rate of 20+, we should all chip in to buy those and go as a group. Get our discount that way, with the group name begin AZZ.

$34 is a ridiculous price to see a game in the Crap Bowl! I've got hockey tickets in Columbus for the same price, in pretty good seats!

I'd keep checking stubhub or craiglist in toledo. I'm sure you could find a good deal.

Thanks, much. I've been doing some thinking and I know we have to win the last two first. But IF BG wins the East, I am gonna have to dig deep for MACC tickets and possible bowl tickets. I need 3 for UT and since UT is only 2-8, I don't see a whole lot of people coming out for this last game. The cheaper, the better.

Yeah, I can deal with those prices. Given the thought that a lot of people who may already have tickets will forgo the game this year, I'm guessing that the prices may actually go down the closer we get to kickoff.
We'll see.

Stubhub has a good price for the tickets themselves, but you have to pay a 10% fee and then they require you to use fedex for shipping which is almost $14.
