I am very surprised as well. As much as the results haven't been the best, and that people wanted him fired years ago, I wish coach the best down the road.

Look, coach, I wish you all the best in your future endeavors. You were a fine offensive coordinator, and I'm sure you'll find another job in that capacity before too long. I just think it's time this program headed in a new direction.

Its official in Oxford.... Montgomery has "resigned".

I got a phone call about 12:30 from a friend .... without giving too much away..... people connected with the team sent out text messages to friends/family that the axe had fallen.
