That statement alone makes me glad he's not coming here. Doesn't sound like the kind of guy you want leading your team. Can he not give someone the benefit of the doubt before making a decision like that?freefalcon wrote:"I haven't even met this coach," Nicely said. Yea, my girlfriends little sister used to date him. After it ended i asked what happened, and her response "he's too into himself"FMBfan07 wrote:i'll have to ask some friends at home about this kid, i am to old so didn't go to high school with him, but i know some people that probably did. He's an 18 year old kid who has been told how great he is since he was 12, it's expected. Word around town is his dad is one of those "my son is gods gift to the world" and never put him in check.
I hope the best for him, like i said, he's a kid with his head a little on wrong.

Does anyone care to remember that we are talking about a 17/18 year old kid? Sure, it was a dumb statement to make, but we're not talking about a seasoned professional here. I'm surprised at the level of vitriol being expressed in this thread.
In the end, we should really just wish for him the best possible decision for him.

Those are my favorite kinds of people because the look on their faces and their body languages completely change when they realize they aren't that good when they get to college and that they actually have to work to be good.cph2133 wrote:Yea, my girlfriends little sister used to date him.
