There's no indication that Illinois is interested in any of the MAC's coaches.

The hiring path is not usually MAC head coach to Big 10 head coach. I think Michigan State is probably rethinking ther decision to not pursue Urban Meyer more strenuosly.
They'll probably have to settle for a coordinator from another BCS program after the up and comers like Meyer, Tedford and Boise's Hawkins tell them to take a hike
