Hey gang - due to the time change of the Men's game this weekend, the game will NOT be broadcast on WFRO or sister station WOHF (which is the "roll over" station if WFRO can't broadcast) due to other broadcasting conflicts @ that time.
Same goes for 1230 WCWA - they also have a conflict unfortunately.
At least the game is on TV - but also can be heard on LIVE STREAM via BGSUFALCONS.com.

That will be a bitterly cold football game. Why are you still playing football? Attendance will be down to nothing. What...Oh, I see.

What a joke. The point of having a radio broadcast is for someone to hear it.

Meh. As Forrest Gump said, s**t happens. As big of a fan as I am of radio (and I truly am), most people have such access to the Intertubes as to make the radio waves irrelevant.
I read the Plain Dealer, in which they list the radio broadcasts for both Kent and crAkron. I don't think I have ever looked at the radio affiliate listed in the "On the Air" column and thought to myself, "wow, I have never set my Ipod tuner to that frequency."
This isn't a "BGSU" problem.

What happens if BG makes the the NIT or NCAA? Those games will be added at the last minute. Will these stations have conflicts? Not every fan, especially older fans, may not have access to the Intertubes. You still need to have your games broadcast over the radio where fans can listen to them.
The whole thing has been a joke, first not having a station to three stations not carrying it because of a schedule change. If this isn't a BGSU problem, then who is negotiating with the station?
